Headin Home

Well hopefully by this time next Friday we are well on our way back to NM. Cant wait to be back home. The big city has its perks for sure, but this country boy has had his fill. Time to go back to the mountains, time to go back to Gods country!

The Miracle continues!

The Miracle continues!

Gotta love it!

Gotta love it!

Official

Well as of yesterday it became official. We will be moving back to New Mexico. It is a bitter sweet time me. I will miss my work family deeply. Working with them over the past 3 plus years I have shared many great times with them as well as the many battles that we fight together as one.

I will never forget the times I shared with them, but the cards fell the way they did and I must do whats best for my family. I know leaving will be hard, but I also know that God has our best interests at heart and what He has on the road ahead of us will be great.

I cant wait to be living close to family and friends again, and look forward to mant more great times with them.

“Only In America”

1) Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000 a plate campaign fund raising event.

2) Only in America could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when we have a black President, a black Attorney General, and roughly 18% of the federal workforce is black.

3) Only in America could we have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner, the head of the Treasury Department and Charles Rangel who once ran the Ways and Means Committee, BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

4) Only in America can we have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.

5) Only in America would we make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege while we discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just become American citizens.

6) Only in America could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country’s Constitution be thought of as “extremists.”

7) Only in America could you need to present a driver’s license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

8) Only in America could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

9) Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a trillion & half dollars more than it has per year for total spending of $7 million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.

10) Only in America could the rich people who pay 86% of all income taxes be accused of not paying their “fair share” by people who don’t pay any income taxes at all.

I did not write this, I in no way lays claims nor take credit as being the author!

Out of the mouths of Babes

I was giving the boys haircuts last night, when my six year old, Jordan asked me if I could give him a “mocow” He looked at me funny when I started to laugh!

"You can never learn that Christ is all you need, until Christ is all you have."

Corrie Ten Boom

Josiah

Josiah is one of the most demanding 3 year old around. He knows what he want and wants it when he want its.

Right now he has convinced his mom that playing games on the computer is what he wants, it took him 20 minutes of continual “insistence” but they are at the computer.

At 3, almost 4 he cant talk much, you see he is a cancer survivor, diagnosed when he was only 4 months old. He has been in remission for a bit over 3 years and is still playing catch-up.

It is sad to see how frustrated he gets when he is trying to communicate. He knows what he want to say, but just doesn’t have the ability to get his point across very easily.

It is also amazing to watch him communicate. His insistence, his never give up attitude is what has allowed him to get to where he is at. Many times parents take the health of their kids for granted. Its isn’t until a parent has been there, that they will truly understand the miracle of healthy kids, then again having a special needs child is a miracle and a blessing as well.

No one will ever convince me that Wendy Williams isnt a man!

This is how far Josiah has come over the past 3 years. God is AWESOME and yes He is still working miracles.
